Hi, I am Sheri and I have created this site a to encourage you on your faith journey in the Art of Heart Rest. This involves trusting Jesus with our deepest hurts, hopes, and stories — so our hearts can rest in His finished work and gentle leadership.
It’s about reducing our inner striving and replacing fear with faith, so we are cultivating true peace which only comes from being anchored in Christ, where we can heal and be transformed from the inside out.
Have you ever felt weary from trying to hold everyone’s peace together — carrying emotional and spiritual burdens, praying for a wandering child, and sensing deep down that it’s time to set boundaries so you can breathe again… and live free from anxiety and overwhelm?”
Are you ready to trust Jesus with what weighs heavy on your heart — to experience peace where striving once lived? Are you longing to heal those tender places by resting in God’s love, and to feel empowered as you step into a season of soul rest, fully anchored in Christ?
When Your Heart Is Too Tired to Keep Trying….
There comes a moment in every believer’s life when our heart whispers, “I can’t carry all of this anymore.” We don’t talk about that moment much — especially not in church. We tell ourselves to smile, to serve, to keep the peace, to hold everyone else together while our own heart feels like it’s slowly coming undone.
You love God. You’ve prayed the prayers.
You’ve whispered the verses.
You’ve stood strong in faith even when disappointment shook everything else.
But inside?
You’re weary.
You’re weary from trying to be the glue that holds it all together.
You’re weary from worrying about the people you love most.
You’re weary from the invisible battles that don’t give you a day off.
Friend, Jesus sees that weariness.
He doesn’t roll His eyes at your exhaustion. He doesn’t sigh at your tears. He doesn’t blame you for feeling stretched thin. Instead, He offers an invitation so beautiful and so simple that we often dismiss it:
“Come to Me…and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28
Heart rest isn’t found in solving every problem or controlling every outcome.
It’s not about pretending you’re fine.
Heart rest happens when we hand Jesus every burden we were never meant to carry.
Our journey is not toward a life free from struggle — but toward a heart deeply free in Christ. Together, we will learn the art of letting go, the beauty of trusting God with what hurts, and the peace of finally resting our hearts in the One who loves us most.
You don’t need to hold everything up anymore.
Jesus is holding you.
Welcome to The Art of Heart Rest. 💞
